1. Bring Us the Garment

Bring the garment you want altered along with the shoes, undergarments or other pieces that may affect the fit.

2. Tell Us What Isn't Working

Too long? Too loose? Pulling somewhere it shouldn't? Or perhaps you just know something isn't quite right.

You don't need to know alteration terminology. That's our job.

3. We'll Pin, Measure & Plan

We'll evaluate the garment on you, discuss what's possible and determine the alterations needed to achieve the best fit.

4. We Work Our Magic

This is where craftsmanship takes over—careful construction, thoughtful adjustments and attention to the details.

5. Try It On Again

You'll return for your fitting or pickup. Some garments—particularly bridal and more complex formalwear—may require additional fittings to get everything just right.

A Little Preparation Helps Us Work Our Magic

For the most accurate fitting, please bring:

The garment you would like altered
The shoes you plan to wear with it, particularly for hems and formalwear
The undergarments or shapewear you'll wear with the garment when they affect fit
Any accessories that could affect length, neckline or placement
Your questions, concerns and ideas

And don't worry if you aren't sure what needs to be changed.

You only need to tell us how you want to feel in it. We'll help figure out the rest.

How Much Will My Alterations Cost?

Every Garment Is Different

Alteration pricing depends on the garment's construction, fabric, details and the amount of work required.

Two dresses that look similar from the outside can require very different work once we look inside them.

For that reason, the best way to determine what your garment needs—and what it will cost—is for us to see it.

Don't Wait Until the Last Minute

If you're having something altered for a wedding, prom, vacation, special event or other important date, bring it to us as early as you can.

More complicated garments may require multiple fittings, and certain times of year are especially busy.

A little extra time gives us room to concentrate on getting it right rather than simply getting it done.
